Start controlling and modifying your light with this Shoot-Through Umbrella. In general, the umbrella will soften and broaden the light output of any strobe or lower wattage constant light. This umbrella features a diffusive 1-stop white nylon that exhibits wide coverage, low contrast and a substantial boost in the ambient light level. Instead of traditionally bouncing your light source inside the umbrella, turn it around and aim the convex side of the umbrella toward your subject. While still diffused, you will get wide coverage and a snappy look with more contrast. The umbrella can soften, reflect, and shape whatever light source that you use, ideal for fill light. Most studio lights include a built-in umbrella receptacle for instant mounting. There are also a variety of mounting brackets available for speedlights with adjustable and tiltable options for precise positioning.

Two Sizes:

• 33" - Perfect for a 1 person head shot or small 3x4 ft product setup

• 43" - Perfect for 1-2 people headshot, head to waist shot or medium 4x6 ft product setup

• This umbrella is designed primarily for use with strobe & LED lighting.

• Using this umbrella with modeling lights or constant lights stronger than 200 watts for long sessions will result in eventual discoloration or scorching.
